The Everyone’s A Winner/Running Events 3K & 5K, organised by Running Events Jamaica, and has been postponed.

Race Director Alfred Francis noted that in light of the confirmed CoronaVirus Disease (COVID-19) in Jamaica and following the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Wellness, it was best to postpone the event, slated for Sunday, April 5, 2020.

“We will continue to closely monitor the situation and announce the status of the other races on our 2020 calendar at a later date. We feel that this postponement is in the best interest of our running, and the wider community,” he said as he thanked the Jamaican public for its usual support.

The Everyone's A Winner/ Running Events  3K & 5K route was scheduled to take in the historic downtown district along the Kingston Waterfront. The Jamaica Society for the Blind (JSB) is the charity partner for this event, and last year, funds raised through the 2019 staging, increased the JSB Scholarship Fund to assist talented and needy persons with their academic aspirations.
