The impact and realities of COVID-19 continue to affect families and communities across our island. LASCO Affiliated Companies applauds the outstanding efforts of our civil servants and first responders who have been working on the front lines to save lives.

The health, safety, and recovery of our communities are important to us. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the postponement of the 2020-2021 LASCO/Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) Police Officer of the Year Awards scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2020.

Affectionately known as the LASCO ‘Top Cop’ Award; the Programme, now in its 20th year, is the only national award programme to acknowledge the most outstanding acts of service by our police personnel.

Successful policing is the result of teamwork. LASCO is proud of the strides it has made alongside the Jamaica Constabulary Force to raise the standards of work ethic, social activism, and the morale of Force members.

LASCO’s support for the sacrifices made by these brave men and women is unwavering. We hope that the Jamaica Constabulary Force members and their families remain safe and in good health during this critical time.
